Each team approved to create in this competition will be given a question to answer and an item to use in your final film.

At the kick off party on November 6th, you will be given your options and then we will go on a tour of the 20,000 sq ft immersive set you get to shoot within. 

It is required to use at least 1 min of footage from Under the Mountain in your final cut. You are welcome to shoot your entire story within the set or just a part. Each film needs to fall within a run time of 4-6 min without credits. 

The biggest challenge is that each team will only have access to the immersive for a scheduled 4 hours (with an extra 1 hour for load in and out) during the two weeks of competition. This allows each team uninterrupted access to the entire immersive! we will

After the tour, we will schedule your shoot days and you will be off to the races. 

All films are due November 20th by 11:59pm. No late submissions will qualify for judging. 

In your film submission you will include the film, a poster, and a full credit list. 

We will host a black tie screening of the final films at The Nevada Museum of Art and then move to the Immersive for a VIP after party the first week of December at which you will receive your Awards.
